The food is so good! Take out was super smooth and perfect spice level. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town.
I'm pretty picky with Thai food and this place is really sooooooo good. I love their pad thai, Pad see ew, and thai red curry. You can pick your spice level which i love and the flavors are 100% there. I normally do a pick up so I can't say much about their service when dining in, but when picking up they are attentive and always make sure my order is correct. This is my favorite place in the area and I totally recommend.
A good local Thai restaurant! The food is tasty with fresh ingredients! I personally like their green curry and Pad Kee Mao! My husband loves their Pen Thai Fried Rice! I have dined in and gotten carry out from this restaurant. I personally feel that their food tasted the same for both occasions. When I dined in, there is only one person who will seat you at your table, get your order, serve you water and your food, and provide you the bill. Personally, I felt the service provided was done smoothly and all of our needs were met. The restaurant had a cozy feel.
PenThai is our go-to Thai restaurant; we probably eat here at least a few times a month. It doesn't hurt that the restaurant is only a few blocks away from our house, so that makes it easy for us to order takeout any old time. They are also open every single day, and thus available whenever the craving for Thai food hits. Service is always friendly and hospitable. Because they are so dependable, we have a tendency to bring visiting friends and family to dine in. On the most recent occasion, we had a very picky toddler with us, and the staff noticed she wasn't eating and brought an off-menu item to better cater to her bland palate. That was very kind! For the rest of us who enjoy flavor in our food ;) the regular restaurant menu has a lot to offer. My usual orders are the Panang Curry or the Beef Salad. My husband can be wary of spicy food, so he usual opts for the Pineapple Fried Rice. Of course, you can always order a tasty Thai Iced Tea to help mellow out any dish.
Really great food! We came in at around 6pm on a Thursday. There was plenty of room, but it certainly wasn't empty. The service was a little bit slow, but the flavor and variety of the meal options made up for that! We got Veggie Soup, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Pad Kee Mao. Flavors were balanced, spice levels were high (in a good way), and portion sizes were nice... not overwhelming, but definitely sufficient! All accounted for, we would definitely come again. Looking forward to trying their pad Thai and curries!
Loved this simple place with its tasty good flavored food. I had cashew stir fry which was really good and h asked for extra cashew. We also tried Kung Pao noodle and Pad Kee-Mao which were good as well. Absolutely loved the spring roll with peanut chutney. Very good customer service.
I placed an order online for pick up on a weekend night for Yum Woonsen, crab rangoons, shrimp tempura, Thai iced tea. Pick up was super quick because my order was ready right at the time I requested. I loved everything I ordered especially the yum woonsen and the crab rangoons. The yum woonsen had so much flavor, chicken, and fresh vegetables. I ordered it with 3** spicy level which was a little too spicy for me but I couldn't stop eating it anyway because it was that good. I also loved the flakiness of the crab rangoons and they had a generous amount of filling.
It's been so long since I've had Thai food. I didn't realize how close it was from me. Pen Thai delivers big on flavor and atmosphere. I tried their Pad Thai w/ chicken (spice level 3), Pad Kee-Mao w/ chicken (spice level 2), and green curry w/ tofu (spice level 2), each with a perfect spice level. Definitely felt the kick the dining area had a calm vibe, and the service was excellent. Many customers got food to go and we were the only customers dining in on Wednesday evening. A great spot for delicious Thai food and a relaxing meal!
Lovely cute place. The food was very tasty. The red cury was really good and great serving portions. They also offer vegetarian options. Highly recommended spot. Can't wait to come back. Service was really good.
